Quasi alla maniera delle torri medievali dei borghi italiani, le torri di Ha Dong, alla periferia di Hanoi (Vietnam), si elevano una diversa dall’altra, quasi a ricordare le radici dei ficus, caratteristici del paesaggio di Hanoi.
La volumetria complessiva, infatti, è realizzata da quattro volumi diversi e all’apparenza indipendenti, intervallati da un cuore verde. Nel basamento sono pensati i servizi di accoglienza: la hall d’ingresso, il centro conferenze completo degli uffici, e -al sotto- il sistema dei parcheggi. Anche dal punto di vista tipo-morfologico le torri s’identificano come un progetto organico, che nel suo farsi edificio sembra non rispettare le regole della tipologia classica, per rifarsi piuttosto ad una modalità organica, che si manifesta soprattutto nel trattamento delle facciate, che sembrano ricordare il disegno delle radici volanti. L’aver suddiviso il complesso in più volumi distinti, la presenza simultanea del verde e la possibilità di ottenere flussi di ventilazione controllati, fanno delle Three Towers un complesso a controllo climatico totale.

Almost like the medieval towers of Italian villages, the Ha Long towers on the outskirts of Hanoi (Vietnam) rise in a medley of different heights different, as if recalling the ficus roots which are a main feature of the Hanoi landscape.
The total volume comprises four different and seemingly independent volumes, interspersed with greenery. The reception services occupy the ground-floor level: the entrance hall, the conference center complete with offices, and beneath them the parking area. Even in terms of morphological type the towers identify themselves as an organic project, which in becoming a building seems not to respect the rules of the classic type, and rather recreates itself in an organic mode, visible mainly in the treatment of the façades, which seem to recall the splay of aerial roots. With the complex split into several distinct volumes, the simultaneous presence of greenery and the possibility of obtaining controlled ventilation flows make the Three Towers a complex that offers total climate control.
