Un ampio giardino privato circondato da una fitta foresta di querce sulle montagne del Molise. Il terreno molto scosceso e la grave sotto manutenzione all’interno dell’area causano gravi fenomeni di deflusso superficiale e lisciviazione del suolo. La soluzione a questo problema ha offerto l’opportunità di introdurre elementi formali del giardino anche “forti” che contraddistinguono il sito ricontestualizzando il paesaggio. Percorsi nelle trincee delimitate da pareti di pietra locale tagliate nella superficie con il doppio scopo di smaltire l’acqua piovana e consentire di raggiungere i diversi angoli del parco. La foresta che circonda l’area riacquista i margini invasivi, creando aree grigie dove il sottobosco può crescere spontaneamente.

A large private garden surrounded by a dense forest of oak trees on the mountains of Molise. The very steep terrain and the severe under-representation within the plant causing severe phenomena of surface runoff and leaching of soil. The solution to this problem has provided an opportunity to introduce formal elements of the garden also “strong” that distinguishes the site recontextualizing the landscape. Paths in the trenches bounded by walls of local stone cut in the surface area with the double purpose of disposing of storm water and allow to reach the different corners of the park. The forest surrounding the area regains invading margins, creating gray areas where the undergrowth can grow spontaneously.
