Thinking about the original character of Thang Long, we decided to combine the Museum to the natural environment and the archeological park creating a whole crossing green area. Nature and architecture are a whole in a “building landscape”.
The project includes both archeological park and urban area without damaging to the environment. The museum is hiding under a green cover, green ribbons in a system of multi-layers and it protects the archeological ruins.
The museum system is composed of a wooden walkway that runs along the ruins and some platforms – standing areas – with glass floor which reminds to the story of the Dynasties. The roof becomes an hanging garden that includes pedestrian paths with standing areas looking both at the archeological spaces and the park.
