AceaElectrabel Exhibition | Rome

The concept takes shape from a great empty box, a dark and semitransparent container. In contrast with the rational, cold and geometric nature of the external image the interior develops as an organic, multiform and colorful world made of bubbles of light of different size and light intensity. These bubbles are arranged freely within the space. The public walks through the door of this box and enter in a magic, hanging space: luminescent and inflated bubbles. Some of these bubbles emerge from the ground, some others float in air, and others touch the dark ceiling.
This way the bubbles recreate the optic illusion of being immersed in a fluid, dense, almost liquid space, like a continuous game of dissolves and transparence, between the interior and the exterior of the plastic membrane of the bubbles, and between these and the micro-perforated cloth of the box that encloses them.
